The Head of Sustainability is a newly created position and will work as a visionary leader and organizational strategist to provide thoughtful leadership, creativity, and an experienced perspective on matters related to sustainability and resilience.
Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Head of Sustainability works to develop and execute broad-based Getty-wide strategic sustainability initiatives and will bring subject matter expertise on sustainability to support the institution not only using resources responsibly but preserving cultural property. The Head of Sustainability’s work is poised to impact across the Getty organization. This position provides an opportunity to work with leaders and colleagues, institution-wide, to synthesize environmental information and partner on sustainable and resilience initiatives.
The Head of Sustainability is a leadership role and will work in close partnership with the four constituent programs and others across the institution in the development, implementation, and coordination of the Getty's strategic sustainability and resilience initiatives.
