Job Summary

The Digital Producer, Immersive Storytelling will be part of guiding and growing a group dedicated to imagining and defining how Getty’s art collections, archives and expertise might be experienced online. Getty Digital is seeking a skilled digital producer to help push our goals forward.


Immersive Storytelling at Getty is a new group formed to leverage innovations in digital media to disseminate Getty’s work and collections with a broad global audience. This group owns the conception, creative direction and coordination of these executions, pairing Getty’s own expertise and resources with outside storytelling partners to create rich and engaging experiential content for the digital public.

Major Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Immersive Storytelling group’s lead, you will help guide partnerships between Getty’s own subject matter experts and content partners to produce highly specialized digital executions. You’ll ensure these cross-functional project teams are managed to succeed, removing barriers and building consensus to keep projects moving. You’ll track project progress and provide regular status reports, highlighting and mitigating any risks as they arise. Across this work, you’ll help shape the Immersive Storytelling group’s overall roadmap for projects and initiatives, designing and overseeing processes and procedures that advance our capacity to produce groundbreaking work.


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive software analysis development and implementation experience
  • 0-2 years IT project management experience
