Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, user-centered professional to join the Getty Enterprise Systems & Integration (ESI) Team. This position reports to the Assistant Director and works closely with software users from across Getty. This person also works closely with Getty Digital's network, database, infrastructure, and ESI teams to assist, improve, and troubleshoot primarily Oracle/PeopleSoft enterprise applications. The position oversees and manages IT projects within the Finance and Accounting area. 

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with internal and/or external contacts on administrative and technical matters.
  • Performs the full range of project management cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing. Oversees and manages projects requiring functional integration. 
  • Utilizes expertise in evaluation and interpretation to increase efficiency, reduce costs and/or improve quality
  • Directs development of a project plan, and estimates requirements for resources, including management, labor, materials, and time required to complete project
  • Facilitates discussions and negotiations to drive recommendation consensus within scope of assigned area
  • Develops and helps execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders on a focused project; manages resistance to change
  • Organizes interdepartmental activities to ensure the completion of projects on schedule and within budget constraints

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive software analysis development and implementation experience
  • 2-5 years IT project management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Deep experience in PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2 -- Procurement, Accounts Payable, Project Costing and General Ledger modules
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to productively engage and influence cross- functional teams
  • Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components
  • Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations
  • Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects
